THIS Bulletin is a guide to up to-date methods forthe sanitary disposal of sewage and other householdand farm wastes. It tells how to construct satisfactorysanitary facilities and how to maintain them and givesspecial attention to the questions on sanitation askedmost frequently by farm people.
Solutions to all problems cannot be given here, andoften advice must be sought from local sanitary officials.Many county and State health departments furnish adviceand copies of local regulations and sometimes provideinspection service. Where there are no specificlocal requirements, this bulletin may be accepted as aguide to safe practice.
